essence STX and 363D

Would virtual surround sound work with the essnce STX and sennheiser 363Ds?

Yes, but the USB module that comes with the 363D will provide that. The Essence would be useless as the 363D is USB, unless you remove the USB part; but then you are paying £50 or so for something you wouldn't use. If you plan on getting an Essence, get either the 350SE or the 360.

Yes, from the Essence, which uses Dolby Headphone. Probably pretty similar to what the 363D use. I should add you don't necessarily need a Xonar Essence to get virtual surround sound. Plenty of cheaper cards have Dolby Headphone as well.

Just another question, cant find the 360s in stock anywhere, would the sennheiser game one work the same as the 360s?

Yes, the Game One appears to be the replacement, just as the 350SE replaced the 350.
