Essential Android Widgets

Hey guys,

Ive owned android phones for years but never really bothered that much with widgets as i think they look a little cramped. Now however Ive got my mits onto a tablet I woud like to jazz up the home screen bit so what widgets do you guys use/recommend?

I already use minimalistic text so im pretty up to scratch with that one, its a brilliant bit of kit that ive used for all of my home screen on my phone. Ill check out sickipedia now, cheers

If I long-click my desktop, I get the option for Android widget and some Orange ones, but how do I add more? Thru the marketplace like with apps? Personally I like the Orange camera widget that has links to camera, gallery and editing.

Yes, you install widgets from the market. Some apps come with widgets also.
