Essential tools in the comp builder's toolbox - tips and tricks

With my latest build, I didn't actually have to use any of my tools.

I say tools, the only one I have is a philips screwdriver, which is mainly used for the case and motherboard stand offs. Other than an odd screw here and there, these days, you barely need to screw or adjust anything.

One thing that has helped, is having a box of all the left overs from my various builds over the years. These include the things people have mentioned above and generally come with some components anyways - screws, cable ties, sata cables, scissors/pliers, etc :) RIP my DFI Lanparty Socket A mobo bundle, that thing had TONS of stuff that I still hang on to, and I use the box to hold all my random cables still! :p

Modern components are designed to be easy to fit and most don't require any tools at all :P.

So far I've only used a screw driver, some cloth, and a flashlight (I live in a dark place :().
