well yeah that's the point - you're male and into computers and you get excited by a throttle vibrating and making some noise....

my friend is female, dancer/model and into fashion/girly stuff etc.. and would likely be as perplexed about your 'nailing the throttle' thing as you are about some posh apartment/house etc.. I watch topgear and leave the room for a bit it gets switched to america's next top model etc...

for me - I'm not exactly that fussed about looking round some posh pad, would probably be slightly amused at winding up an estate agent (am admittedly rather immature) but more just looking for a good excuse to have fun day out with this girl... if she thinks something like this would be funney etc.. then why not
 
You lot should ruddy well write a strongly worded letter to your local MP to complain about the childishness of this uncouth ruffian! Really!

Sounds like you have way too much time on your hands. Can you not think of something better to do rather than waste someone elses time? No doubt the agent will spot you're not interested straight away.

I feel bad enough going to view someones house for the 2nd time tonight and i'm actually serious about putting an offer in - simply because of the effort someone has to go to just so you can see round the house.

Exactly.

Estate/Letting agents are hardly nice people anyway, might as well play them at their own game.

Plus it's a bit of fun, more fun than sitting on here complaining about someones actions.......... I'm on my computer and I'm very nice and sexy and clever and sensbile geek with a 12 inch FNAR FNAR FNAR :cool:
 
Whatever floats the OP's boat. Couldn't think of a worse way to waste my time.

Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised this was a girl's idea. Typically pointless. You know, even if she was really hot, I still don't think I would entertain the idea.

If I were you, I'd come up with a better way of spending time with her, if that's what you're really after. Its London after all, not like theres nothing to do.

a lot of people will only accepts viewings from people who have already sold there existing house or have otherwise secured relevant finances, however I don't think they'd check. Why not just ring up, and if you get busted it doesn't matter, and if you don't it all gravy.
