Hello, yesterday I put together my new box, consisiting of an i7 3770S, 32Gb RAM, and a MSI H77MA-G43 which has a Realtek 8111E NIC, excitedly I made my 5.1 bootable installer USB, chucked it in and during the install it said no NICs found, so after some fiddling with CPU\NIC settings in the BIOS I came out with nothing.
So I decided to try my previous ESXi install USB, chucked that in - again, no NICs found, but I did have console etc so I could look into things... Here is where it gets interesting, even though it's not picking it up and saying it's all working. I jumped into the console and did a lspci, and it shows my NIC? Is there any way of doing essentially an ifup? Or manually configure it..?
