eSystems 1201 - enable wifi on boot?

I got hold of this laptop on the MM and its a neat little system, and I am very happy with it, however when it starts up, you have to press FN+F10 to enable the wireless.

The BIOS is a very poor and basic one and there is nothing in here to enable it so is there any other options?

any advise would be great.

I'm seem to remember some advents don't enable WiFi unless there is a remembered WiFi network set to connect automatically.

possibly, but this is not the reason that its not happening here.
