you can have good graphics without trying to emulate something that already exists.hardkore said:the thing is though i like FPS games that look close or try to emulate real life. It makes the games more intense as they seem fairly real and makes you think twice about your actions. I hate games such as quake 3 where people rocket jump around the place imo it sucks. Also whats the point of having all these fancy graphics cards and the like without vehicles or terrain that fully use the effects?

quake series has been pretty good and fun as it strays away from what seems to have become normal for fps games, trying to emulate real life
