As it says in the title.

I'm poised ready to push the button on an upgrade/new build but I'm really keen to see how the 1900x overclocks/performs and prices in a bundle?

my other option is intel 7800x or at a push 7820x but I'd prefer a 1900x if the price is good and the performance competes with the 7820x?

Anyone got any ideas if this will happen soon.

I dont think it'll OC as high but imc/cashe might be better for Ram- key thing is its budget for those that need lots of PCIe lanes, with cores cheaply - Intel fails at this . But as stated by AMD, the 1900x is a better binned 1800x but the 1950x is better then that, so first 2 thread ripper cpus are the best of the bunch
