Im looking really forward to this and Blue Dragon. :D

I completely agree. I've even had the Blue Dragon soundtrack for a few weeks. :) Eternal Sonata looks stunning in my opinion.

it looks graphically amazing but does it bring anything new to the rpg formula or is it just another clone ?

What was the last RPG to come up with something really original? I don't think there has been a truly original RPG for years now but that doesn't stop them selling by the bucket load (or me enjoying them). I just wish they would stop having male characters who look like women. Square Enix are particularly guilty of this.

It's just the culture of Japan. They like things cutesy over there.

You would never tell it was by Nubuo Uematsu would you? :D

"Bell of Grief" Reminds me of FF7 So much :)

Very true. Anger and Sorrow also reminds me of FFIX for some reason. I really like Cave too. I saw The English Chamber Orchestra in March and Cave sounds like one of the pieces they played. It's a very impressive soundtrack on the whole.

The demo's up in Japan (and Japanese Live accounts ;)) for Eternal Sonata aka Trusty Bell. Plays in English too. Like Blue Dragon, its a bright and colourful world all snazzy in HD. Battle mechanic seems to be a fun spin on usual turn based commands.
