Eternal sonata

i've just bought this game for the ps3 but it wont actually work, it'll load up the game ok but when i try to start the game or load a save it either goes to a black screen or says loading in the bottom left corner and freezes.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get it working?

Assuming you're not having any problems with any other discs at all, the only suggestion really would be to get it swapped. If you know someone else with a PS3 though, it might be worth trying it on that to see if it does the same. If it does, then you pretty much know for certain that there's something iffy with the disc.

Not much else I can suggest really.

I'd put it down on a dodgy disc as well since I have the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata and I didn't have that problem.
