Eternity Warriors 4: can iOS player team up with Android?

Sorry, wasn't sure where better to ask in these forums.

My son is playing EW4 on our Ipad. Just downloaded EW4 onto my PC with the Bluestaks emulator. It runs on my PC fine, even if the controls are a little dodgy.
My question is whether any of you know if it's possible to team up with my son.
My guess is that the iOS and Android users are separated by server type. Is that the case?

I would be very surprised if it was seperated, every other multiplayer game is pretty much cross-platform between iOS and Android.

Also, I recommend giving AMIDuOS a go, I find that runs Android apps pretty well compared to the now bloated BlueStacks. You can also install Google Play services too: http://amiduos.com/nextsteps
