Hi guys, first time on the forum and still a newbie to having a pc (last one i had was vista many years ago!)
I'm really looking for some help. I bought a Medion Erazer Gaming Notebook X17803 about just over a month ago and everything has been working perfectly fine up until tonight.
When it tries to connect to the internet through ethernet cable it comes up with the error in the post title. (It connects to WiFi just fine.)
I first tried restarting the modem which worked for about an hour and then the issue came back.
I followed some online solutions, such as updating my drivers for the network card and doing ipconfig renew and release on the command prompts and also doing a dnsflush too and restarting the laptop each time. None of these have fixed the issue. I also attempted to put in the IP address manually but didn't know what to put in where so i unfortunately gave up on that endeavour.
I will admit to being wary about diving too deep into the system settings and such because I haven't owned a pc in years, but I'm wondering what else I can try to get this fixed or if I need to send it in for repairs?
Thanks in advance!
