i have sky fiber that says upto 60mb in my aera but is my stock ethernet holding me back for gaming, or am i looking into it too fair?
i am in the middle of building a new i5 gaming system, and i would like to know is on-board ethernet ok for gaming?
my manual says i have "Supports one PCI Express LAN 10/100/1000 Fast Ethernet by Intel® 82579V"

Your motherboard has a 10/100/1000 on-board NIC so its already way faster than you need ...

I am using my on-board NIC and I have 120 meg cable and its just fine.
