20GB of data being erased and re-written every few days really isn't that much - my swap file probably does that. But I agree with the above, use an enterprise drive if you need reliability after a lot of writes.
256GB consumer drives will be ancient now, if you don't need much storage at all and don't want to buy enterprise drives then get a 1TB SN570 or something and only partition 100GB of it.
