Hi,
I've got a desktop in our legal dept that all week, at 10:20-10:30 has the internet connection go down.
Run the troubleshooter and it tells me that the ethernet doesn't have a valid IP config.
I have to set the IP manually to something that works, apply it, then go back in and set it back to automatic. It fixes it every time.
My problem is, does anyone know what is causing this issue or how I can go about troubleshooting this?
I ran an ipconfig cmd and it came back showing:
Autoconfig IPv4 Address = 169.254.50.200
Subnet Mask = 255.255.0.0
Default gateway = BLANK
No IPv6 info.
After setting it myself and setting back to auto is shows:
Autoconfig IPv4 Address = 192.168.1.124
Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0
Default gateway = 192.168.1.1
IPv6 info is shown.
