Hi All,

Recently I have been having some terrible issues with my wireless signal from my bedroom (back of the house) to the router (front of the house). So I decided I would try and just connect with an Ethernet cable. I plugged the cable into my Virgin Superhub 2 and then routed it upstairs to my room to plug into my PC, upon plugging it in I noticed it did not connect to the router.

I then tried troubleshooting the issue and it told me I had "No network drivers installed". What does this mean?

I would also like help with my wireless issue aswell if possible. The USB adaptor I am using is a Asus USB-N13 300Mbps Wireless Adapter. Good my wireless problem be that this is just simply not good enough? I can't even pick up the 5GHz signal with it. Should I Maybe think about a signal booster for upstairs?

Thanks.

No network driver installed? You are on about connecting via Ethernet yeh? Does your PC laptop have a local area connection adaptor installed, with the correct up to date driver? Is it enabled? Does it work when you plug your PC or your laptops Ethernet port in to something else? Another port on router? Another port on a separate switch ? Or to another PC?

The problem is on my PC, sorry I should have stated that above. I've tried plugging the ethernet cable into different ports on my router but no luck.

The ethernet ports on my router do work as I have plugged it in to 2 different laptops that are in my house and my xbox one.

Yeah was pointing out either the wrong driver or it needs updating, a layer 1 issue would not cause windows to throw up a driver problem.

Try reinstalling the driver

You did not confirm if your PC under adaptor settings has local area network? It should be enabled, with no cable in it will say unplugged, with a cable in it will go blue then try and obtain IP via dhcp if that's what you use.
