Used them this morning to replace the front tyres on my Civic, and cannot fault them for service. Used them previously a few years back, but not sure if they do this as a matter of course, but they ask you to come outside for the final tightening of the wheel nuts advising the torque they are set too. There is an independent company in town who would not budge on price with the next town being 10miles away. I have a couple of spare £10 off voucher codes if anyone is interested code BH1D1, that may only be valid in Dorset post codes?

used them twice on my fiesta ST. the guy was timely and very polite. got the job done quickly and was very interested in the car.

He was saying that it was a massive shock when my tyres came up on the books as he had never fitted a tyre worth over £100 in all of the time he had worked there

I would use the service again without hesitation.

Really? How long had he been working there, 3 days? £100 a tyre isn't exactly exotic territory - most mainstream cars take tyres that are over this amount these days and have done for a while

I used these guys when my car was abandoned outside my GFs flat in Glasgow.

Called me whilst at work and did everything I asked. Think I had said to use a wheel nut from the front wheels on the rear wheel, as I had to ruin the locking wheel nut, which he was fine to do. I think they were a bit more expensive but it helped me out of a sticky situation.

I believe Douglas Park BMW near me use them as my boss was pricing a Bridgestone dura something and they were £150 cheaper than BMW at £301.

shocking i know. he explained that they were never contracted to do warranty related jobs and the majority of work they did was on vehicles outside of main dealer remit. meaning essentially that every person he would ever go to just fitted budgets.

he had no reason to lie and the fact he was talking about a set of yokohamas like they were some sort of exotic brand that his usual customers would never have heard of before put some backing to that suggestion.

i asked what happens when people with luxury saloons/sports cars used their service and his answer was simple, everyone just fits the cheapest.

strangely enough, i had some rears fitted around a month or two later and the same guy showed up, he was genuinely interested to get my feedback about the service and how my previous tyres were doing.

as mentioned above, they are a little more expensive but that is obviously attributed to the extra overheads.

Especially on larger tyres that are harder to balance, do you not run the risk that the balancing machine isn't going to balance your tyre properly as it's not secured to the ground and only to the van?

I've never had an issue. In fact the guy from event tyres balanced mine twice to make sure they were spot on. They tend to be interested in cars too

I've been using mobile tyre fitting at work for the last 5 years, haven't had the faff of waiting in tyre fitting places for a long time.

Used them several times, no problems at all.

Chose them as they came to where I was and I didn't have to leave the car with some spanner monkey - especially with a wankel engine.

Not the cheapest tyres in the world, but service has always been good.

Used them before, good service from them each time. If you don't know a fitter which I do now then well worth the extra for the service they provide.

used event tyres mobile fitting twice, both times they were the cheapest I could find with stock (Pilot SS) and always very quick fitting. Would recommend them.

My girlfriend used them in the UK, had a set of 4 Contis put on her Fiesta, doubling its value at the time.

Turned up while she was at work, fitted them, job done, no hassle going round 20 places on a Saturday wasting all morning for them to **** it up.
