Gerard had a good tournament. Few assists, constantly motoring on and driving England on. This is hard for me to say as well because I was banging on about leaving Gerard at home and taking Lampard

Would have replaced him with Fabregas after he final but he played too advanced a tournament really to be considered a CM.
