Scotland gonna get destroyed. Spain could play their u15 team and still destroy Scotland. Hopefully Craig's tactics aren't complete madness for tonight.

At least Germany will win. :D

p.s. Scotland game is also in 3D.

It shows how much everyone cares that it's taken until the actual day of the England game for anyone to even bother to make a thread about the internationals, doesn't it?

I considered making a thread before Friday's games, and then with all this much-ado-about-nothing over the captain's armband, but I just couldn't be arsed either.

The Ireland game on Friday was fun though. Russia looked phenomenal at times, back to their slick passing best, but rather shaky at the back too. Akinfeev had a nightmare first few minutes.

I didn't realise Montenegro are actually top of our group! They beat Switzerland on Friday to give themselves a 100% record so far. Considering they've already beaten Bulgaria away, they've got to fancy themselves for a very surprise chance of second place.

Also, Wales are apparently missing anyone decent for Tuesday. Should be a thrilling game against the attack-minded Swiss then.

Yep, only motivation to even watch the game is to watch Wilshere, so disillusioned with English 'football' and the great Three Lions.

The fact that Davies got a call up just confirms my worst fears, England will never advance from the footballing dark ages, we're a mess. Such a pointless exercise to even try any more.

Capello, with his Davies call up and apparent insistance on sticking with Rooney, he's playing like its a league, he's got his plan and style he wants HIS team to play and he's choosing anyone that fits the formation he wants rather than the adapting his utterly failing system to something that suits a cup team and the players we have who would make a decent team between them.

Might be interesting to see WIlshire play but meh, I just don't care, England have zero chance of winning anything asides from some crappy games against weak teams. We'll get, oh god, Redknapp, maybe Hodgeson as a replacement, and go from one manager to another ignoring the pool of managers with international cup experience.

What I'd give for a Hiddink, heck Maradonna had a team playing pretty damn well and lost to best team in the tournament, okay, it wasn't particularly close but Argentina went a round further with a first time manager who has actually been involved with a winning team before at international level, than a "world class" league manager whose never seen success at international level. What is he, a 20 year veteran manager outclassed by a first time out manager. Oh well.

Its hard to get excited about internationals when the single best thing I can come up with as a positive tonight, at least we aren't Scotland up against Spain?

Agree.

I'm not bothered about the England games.

I enjoy watching better international sides these days :( or rather, teams that just place decent football.
