I created a league for this. usual story, create a team, lots of transfers, choose a captain and your formation.

Some further rules:

Number of players per team
There's a limit on how many players you can select from one national team. This limit changes as the tournament progresses.

  • For the group stage, you can pick a maximum of three players from the same team
  • For the round of 16, you can pick a maximum of four players from the same team
  • For the quarter-finals, you can pick a maximum of five players from the same team
  • For the semi-finals, you can pick a maximum of six players from the same team
  • For the final, you can pick a maximum of eight players from the same team
Phase & Number of free transfers
Before tournament starts Unlimited
During group stage 2 per matchday
Before round of 16 Unlimited
Before quarter-finals 3
Before semi-finals 5
Before final 5

Minimum Effort aiming for mid-lower table obscurity.

Hopefully the player lists have been updated to reflect current squads as its too much effort checking on each one.

I've noticed a lot of teams with bruno/Ronaldo (c). Tip - read the rules and start with players playing first in yout first xi. Portugal/Spain play last so leave them on your bench until you can sub them in later if any of your first xi disappoint.

I have no idea about all this extra subbing etc. Thought it was just like the official fantasy premier league one where once you've selected for that round it's set in stone and subs only come in if someone don't play.

If it's a proper constant daily tactical play then I'll just leave it as is.

Bloomin wish I put immobile in as considered it loads. Dang.

The game will do autobsubs for you too but only if you stay hands off. But daily management gets you best chance of more points.
 
Anyone remner what is a good score for a forward form past tournaments? Deciding whether to stick or twist from immobile (c).

At the moment it's stick.

I missed you could do this and had 22 points on the bench which I would have started with, had I known that rule - grr :/
