Stunning result from Aberdeen tonight, 0 - 3 in Croatia. Rijeka were unbeaten at home in twelve European games, the results were:

Those results really put in perspective what we acheived tonight. Cool heads for the home leg next week should hopefully see us through. The super-bonus-prize, is that because the third round draw is made tomorrow; before the tie is complete, we take their coefficient, and will therefore be seeded. Meaning we can't face any of the big guns until the final qualifier.

If we are lucky enough to get there, I'd absolutely love West Ham, assuming they can struggle past their Maltese opposition in this round.

Well seeing as it looks like I am the only saints fan on the board not at the game its up to me to post. Southampton 2-0 up at half time Mane looking very lively, won us a penalty and very nice assist for pelles opener. Cedric our new right back looks very good going forward can see him getting plenty of assists this season. Clasie been a bit missing so far but wanyama has been a beast mopping up in midfield.
 
Great atmosphere at Southampton today and a good win to start the season. Props to the Vitesse fans, they were at 100% for the full 90 minutes, their spirit was never dented.

Clasie was a bit of a let down but Mane looked his usual frenetic self and Juanmi seems switched on from the time we saw of him. Hopefully the start of a memorable journey!
