Europa League 19th

Did Woodgate not give away a penalty, get sent off, then get injured for like 20 years right after that to top it off?

Woodgate did not make any appearances for Real Madrid in his first season in Spain, eventually making his debut on 22 September 2005, in a league match against Athletic Bilbao. The game went badly for him, as he scored an own goal and was later sent off for a second bookable offence; however, Woodgate was applauded and cheered from the pitch and was regarded for a period of his time at the club as something of a cult-hero

BALOTELLI!!!!!!!!....and 2mins later got booked for squaring up to a defender lol

To be fair, the guy did a pretty ridiculous flying headbutt(header but just dangerous) knocked him to the ground he got up but he just wagged a finger really, he didn't square up, there was none of that "gay chicken" style pushing heads into each other to see who fliches first.

No idea how he got a yellow, did he get injured at the end? really inoccuous looking challenge that didn't knock him down but you see his leg get jarred, the kind of almost nothing type of knock that ends up being a crutiate ligament job, he went down and they bought the ickle golf cart style stretcher on, didn't see what happened after though.

Cracking stuff, joe cole to get another red this game and ban himself from pretty much every competition for a few games. Balotelli to follow soon in the city game.

You watch it Drunkenmaster?....and yeh a bad injury apparently :/...cruciate ligament :(, I hope its not and its just a precaution to use the stretcher.
