If the chancellor gave me a BIK incentive the cost/benefit equation would be simpler
.... if you won the pools and had to choose one daily commuter in summertime, what would it be. ?

The problem with a BIK incentive is the non-negligible chance of the govt. doing a massive U-turn 6 months down the line and leaving you paying £££ more on a car you're stuck with for 3 years

Then I would be without a car for 6 months.

Well that does rather put a spanner in the works!

Shame really as the other models in the range trended downwards rather rapidly. The #3 Brabus is down as much as £13-15kk on list for a 75-reg car.
Be interesting to hear what sort of deal you manage to pull off if you do get one new from the dealer.

Big recall on VW Batteries. Only meant to be 1% of cars. But I remember one of Bjorn Nyland testing an ID Car with bad degradation. Sounds similar.
