That’s not how Tesco/pod point work, once you plug in, you have to claim the charge on the app within 15 mins or it turns off again.
If you claim the charger and you’ve not plugged in (E.g. your 2 mins away in the car), there is nothing to stop someone plugging in and taking it before you get there.

. I used one on the way to Newcastle last month, and it worked really well although was strange as it was a supercharger (tesla, not sure if there any other "brands"), and I had to register my reg plate at the hotel reception, which was free but I question the point of it, unless it's to stop people leaving cars there.
