Evaluate this website if you wish !

He's got one of my pet hates going on. Page name in the tab is 'Martin Dickson Ceramics index'. I work at a school and when i see kids leaving index in there drives me crazy. But to be honest the kids general webpage looks/works better. Even if they did it in powerpoint lol.

WHY would the hyphen be black in the middle of a block of white text? WHY?
 
Sam needs to up his game. Maybe go through some courses on Code Academy, Code School or Treehouse before selling to local businesses.

He is easily found via his facebook page. Doesn't look the sort to develop and be happy with what we see. Maybe should stick to cycling and a music ;)
 
This has been done using a WYSIWYG editor, you can tell by the source code. I really hope you didn't pay for this and I really hope he doesn't charge for his services.

It's those flourishes of style which really set a website apart. Hard to appreciate on its own, but as a package it's just..... well, it's why he's a web designer and we're not - they're a breed apart.
 
Judging by the post above it seems this guys an amateur wants to try web design but hasn't learned the skills of it :p

OP, look at using a template and making it to your style.

I'm really not sure why there's a shop with no shop. You want a portfolio with all your previous work and categorise it and then have it so people contact you to discuss sales.
