Evan Davis is an eejit!

Evan Davis is so much better an interviewer than Humphries it's just not funny. I thought it was a very well conducted interview: it covered a lot of ground, let Cameron express himself and didn't get bogged down in trying to badger a single point like shrill twit Humphries would have done.

How old are you?

I'm 24 and I listen to radio 4 when CM on radio 1 is being boring. Which is about 50% of the time.

31. Yes, I'll be leaving the demographic soon :(

At least 24 is an adult. It makes more sense. I would bet my mortgage that no other members here were listening to Radio 4 before being able to form reasonable opinions regarding situations.

I'm 25 and stopped listening to Radio 1 about 10 years ago... sadly they only seem to employ presenters with double-figure IQs. Annie Mac's show is pretty good though on a Friday night.

Otherwise it's R2 for me - particularly like Jeremy Vine.

I'm 27 and often listen to Radio 4 while driving to/from work, however I do listen to Radio 1 on Friday nights. I think daytime Radio 1 is terrible though.

By default I'll put radio 1 on, but radio 4 can be good to wake you up when they have a decent debate going... takes your mind off the commute :p

However, this morning was an example of a debate that was good simply because the presenters points were idiotic. He was trying to say that the USA are always bailing us out and France are laughing at us because we don't have one of their big aircraft carriers. Most people would expect the defense budget to drop in a recession :confused: Needless to say, Cameron didn't have to defend himself much.

BTW, I didn't bet my mortgage agreement, I bet my mortgage. I don't believe I've lost the bet, and therefore you all owe me the outstanding amount on the house. A sum somewhere in the region of £121,000 :D
 
radio 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> radio 1

i'm 31. stopped listening to radio 1 in late 90's and switched to radio 2. absolute radio is good aswell.
 
Radio 4 is the only station I listen to now, although I am 39 so fall within their demographic.

I heard the interview, thought it was OK, usual Today standard. I do think its time for Humphrys to go though.
