Eve online crashing?

Hi guys, just installed the trial for eve, it crashes after a few minutes of game play!
My system specs are
Vista home premium
CPU E8400 @ 3g
6gig of memory ddr3
ATI sapphire 4870 512mb (soon to be 5850)

Any ideas, ive googled it and come up with no fixes, was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

Ive been playing Eve for nearly 5 years now on various machines - the Eve client itself is well optimised and has very few bugs.

Is you machine stable running other games etc? Try turning off the sound (inc Eve Voice). I also have the same graphics card as yourself, however I set the fan within the ATI control panel to manual to 40% which lowers temps around 20-30c.
 
Thanks for the reply, yeah plays everything else stable i also set my fan to 50% when playing games, ill try turning the sound off. But would not be happy playing with no sound!

Try it without the overclock, I've had eve throw up instabilities on systems that have passed every other stability test I've thrown at them.
