I recently re activated my account after 30 days (when my mining barge skill was at lvl 5) to find that it DID NOT continue training...

I asked a fare amount of people if it would continue training if i disabled my account temporary but it didn't.

Is this a joke or has eve stopped this happening?

I dont understand, so you expected to get free skillups for not paying to play the game

How in anyones mind does that seem even remotely logical ?

Well i read everywhere and was told here that it would continue training if i stopped my subscription but i wont be able to log back in and change things if it ends..

It used to, but they stopped it about a year ago I think, because everyone was doing what you did for long skills, and they were loosing money :)

CCP used to promote unsubbed skill training as a feature. Think of it like rested xp in other mmorpg's. It gave people a reason to go back to the game after their sub ran out. Many years later CCP changed their minds and decided it was not a feature and a started to say it was a bug then thought up the "ghost training" name to make it sound bad.

I thought it was offline training that they use as a feature and not unsubbed training?

Nah, it was even in the player guide. The link to the eve forums in my previous thread had links to the part of the player guide that even confirmed it on page 1. The player guide has long since been re-edited so the links wont work now.
