Saw this the other day from the Gamescom footage. It looks so impressive. Wasn't even interested in an Oculus Rift until I saw this game.

It isn't trying to go that route. Valkyrie (atm at least) is about multiplayer dogfights, not the whole trading/combat package. Star Citizen is more likely to hit the spot if you want that sort of game.

Yep, its been known for a while now, I'm guessing it'll be released late 2014 though.

Apparently they're releasing a 1080p development hit early next year too.

Doesn't look like there will be unfortunately. Palmer and Nate confirmed as much directly in an interview with RoadToVR.

One thing I did ask them however was whether the HD Prototype would evolve into a ‘DK2′ and was told plainly that it wasn’t on the cards or even economically viable.
