Even the rain cant stop it

Every time I use it I get more impressed by the Sigma 100-300. I decided to go to Shepreth wildlife park on Saturday to see what this lens could do with larger subjects on a nice sunny day.

Well it was sunny when I set off....by the time I got there it began to rain and didn't stop all day. Being beligerent and grumpy I decided to shoot the animals anyway and hope my camera survived the day!

1) I smell something, I think its rain

2) Yup definately getting wet

3) Well Im not coming out then!

4) Nor us!

5) Its dry in here

Thankfully the camera survived but Lowepro bags aint waterproof!

Nice sharp shots, took my Sigma 100-300 out today to Whipsnade zoo today, first time i have been able to use it properly (in a noob sence) since i got it. Was getting quite heavy at one point then i didn't seem to notice it after a while.
