well, i'm new here, but not new to games, computers.

i've been gaming since my dad bought me grandstand's astro wars.
then a c16, speccy +2, c64, snes, n64, xbox..then to a pc!

i'm here to learn more before i upgrade my current 1st time rig, but i will try and float around google to answer most of my questions, but hopefully i can drop by here to ask for help when my fuse is blown!!

i am settling in quite well actually. there was another forum i signed up with, but it seemed to vast and unwieldy for me. this forum is definitely warmer and friendlier

i already have trusty and mei giving me adivice about my 1st upgrade.

i have just been relying on google as a means to 'arm' myself with as much info as possible. some people get slightly tired by newcomers asking for answers that are readily available around the web
