C & C welcome.

Cheers,

Mohain

I love you. I mean this photo - this photo!

Most excellent - I'm loving the way the clouds aren't sweeping towards you as such, but rather in a slight arc. They've also maintainted great structure and form, which you don't usually get with long exposures!

And that's a lovely little starburst. All in all bloomin' excellent!

Only suggestion going - seems like there are two trees there. Same shot, 100 metres to the right, possibly with the trees more towards the left of the frame.
Course you may not have been able to shade the sun with the trees like that, so it may not have been a possibility!

nice shot.... motion blur on the sky?

Yeah it happens when clouds move fast enough :p

Great shot, though I think its just a tad dark. Maybe some dodging on the forefground to bring it out a bit more.

That's a great shot :) Shame there's a railway to the left though (i assume that's what it is, though i could be wrong!).

All cyKey wants is a HDR version ;)

Hey theres nothing wrong with a little HDR loving :D HDR could be interesting but a little dodging could go a long way instead.

Great colours, and execution, love it. Only thing i wanted to see is what it would look like if it was framed so the tree is 1/3 either left or right of the shot.

It does need to be a tad lighter in the forground leading upto the tree. Although the exposure has caught great motion in the sky the forground is still under exposed and you cant help but feel that. I also dont think having the suns direct flare through the tree works aswel as the skys motion. I feel it should be one of the other.

Still a good shot no matter what you say about it :)

Thanks loads for the comments :D

I admit, I cheated a tad :o It's a 5 shot HDR, done in CS2. The clouds were had moved a little between each shot a unform amount so I blurred them using motion blur. I've just taken delivery of some ND + ND grad filters so I hope to do it for 'real' next time ;) Problem is that my Camera can only do a 30sec exposure, even in Bulb mode  Yes, that is a railway running down the side, should be easy to retouch out.

Thanks again :)

That'll be why there's slight stepping in the clouds, which I couldn't quite understand : D
