With some help (THANKS - Bobbler) I was able to remove some old Alcohol driver entries.
I have some other Event Log entries related to USB drivers and would like to understand them;
Any ideas please - in the latter case the USB controller is working in device manager? I only seem to have this problem after going to XP SP2
