Hi,

I have been hoodwinked into doing a uni ball for a housemate but have very limited knowledge/no experience in doing it.

I have the following kit:

2 flash lamps (flash settings and lamp functions)
2 stands
2 Brollies (2 matt/shiny square reflectors and 1 translucent one)
flash meter
slave unit

D300
SB600 Nikon Speedlight

OK so i have the Kit but not a CLUE how to put it up in the best orientation etc. I have tried it all out and seems to take great images, just point and shoot but thought there may be some tricks of the trade...

It will be groups of 100 people and then smaller groups (1-4 people).

Can anyone aid me in my hour of need! The ball is on Saturday so any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

TA very much!

ha ha, yes the background...! I have bought 2.5m by 3m of painters canvas (cheapest in hobbycraft!) which is nice and thick as well as being a neutral colour.

Do you reckon that would be good?

BIG problem though is that i have no way to erect it... The canvas that is before some funny bugger gets on this! I am thinking timber yard, nails and hammer! any ideas?!

Cheers!
