very annoyed at the mo'. i've been trying to install some basic scripts (cutenews/phpbb and more) the same way i've installed them a dozen times before, but they're not working properly at all, which makes me think something is up with my hosting package.
so i signed up for a new package, which seems fine except i can't login via ftp for some mystery reason. furthermore my host who in the past i found to be very good with support seems to have gone awol, and is taking ages to reply to my emails. :mad:

i'm itching to do some much needed work on my websites, but havn't been able to get a single thing done all weekend. very frustrating.
everything i've tried to do on the net this weekend has fudged up.

plus to add insult to injury my connection speed has been painfully slooow all day. i think my housemates have been raping the bandwidth.

today is the day the internet said no. :/

lol, had a similar experience in my final year at uni. Had setup my final assignment up on a hosts website using sql server. on the day when i was ment to set everything up nothing was working, and i knew 100% that what i'd done was ok so i was playing about with everything to sort it.

In the end found out the host had moved the sql servers check some how reset the premissions on all my stored procedures making it so my app could read but not write or edit the database :(
 
I use to have one on tsohost. It seems that the 64bit cpanel its using still has a few bugs... how are you installing it? The only i way i could get phpbb was to do it manually
