You were at a gig and the support band came on who weren't well known and you thought "this band are going to be big and one day I'll be able to say I was there".
My 'I WAS THERE' moments would include an unknown band called Queen supporting Mott The Hoople.
Van Halen supporting Black Sabbath,
Iron Maiden supporting Judas Priest,
Watching The Darkness in a pub before they made it,
and theres bound to be more I can't think of at the moment.
I honestly think I'm going to have another 'I WAS THERE' moment on October 28th at The Sugarmill in Stoke. The bands The Answer and Roadstar are playing a gig together and I think one or both are heading for the top.
