Westfield's noise on the over-run between 2000 & 3000 RPM. A dead reporducable noise, and not a "meh that's what you get for having a twin plate ceramic paddle clutch" noise a "OMG A COG IS ABOUT TO COME FLYING THROUGH THE TUNNEL STOP RIGHT NOW" noise. Load it up or get it out of that rev range and it goes right away.
Engine & gearbox been out 7 times so far this year.
Flywheel removed & checked. Clutch removed & checked. Gearbox rebuilt. Gearbox replaced. Gearbox replaced again. Bellhousing replaced. Starter checked. Wiring re-done to allow starter to be completely removed. Gearbox input shaft machined. Prop UJs checked. Prop checked & found to be 2mm out of true & a bit off balance. New prop machined.
That's only the bits I can remember, and has it fixed it? No it bloody well hasn't...
