I would like to start an Everest Memory benchmark thread for the Core i7 1366 chipset to see the differences in response times.

If your system is not "responsive" with a 4GHz quad core processor, 6GB of 1600MHz Ram and an SSD then there's something wrong with it.

What exactly do you mean by "more responsive"?

Faster memory is going to make absolutely no difference.

If your PC feels laggy it's either not running properly or you're very sensitive to very small amounts of delay.

I suppose all those micro seconds add up

Thanks anyway, but I was trying to see what differences there were with latency using tripple channel DDR3 on the 1366 chipset.

Nothing hostile about it.

Just pointing out that the OP seems to be getting a bit paranoid about something which is irrelevant and that if his system is "laggy" it may be down to other issues.

the OPs latency scores are the same as my DDR2 P965 mobo - which is a surprise !
