Everest Memory Benches

oh i see, but remember mine ram is still running at 5-5-5-15. I think i can OC my setup more. I read 3 reviews which they OC'd this ram to about 1200/1300mhz. My aim for 4Ghz at some point but pretty happy with temps and speed.

here is mine, i aint sure if the other timing can be improved

Thats a pretty good set of timings you have there, i would try 5,5,5,12
then dropping the command rate to 1
dont forget to bench at every yurn :)

i did 5-5-5 12 and command rate on my bios 1N (the value is 1n and 2n) its improved a little but it still says command rate 2 on cpuz and that app

You can, but it's pretty hard to get a decent memory freq with it and DDR2.

I have been tpying with some BIOS settings in the MIT menu of my EP45 and found something interesting.

That's just the tRD/Preformance Level setting in Gigabyte boards. It's been there since P965 (tho it wasn't enabled til P35 IIRC).

1T Will usually max out around 850MHz... I don't think it works or works properly on most intel chipset boards tho. Some nForce boards support it with varying results but as its not usually a priority for the board developer to work on its often buggy or setup with less than optimal settings and can easily result in performance hits on some setups instead of gains.

Jigged around with the BIOS and now with these settings:

CPU: 410x8 = 3.28GHz
RAM: 1:1 so 410x2 = 820MHz
Timings: Stock 5-5-5-15 2CR

write: 7360 MB/s
read: 7352 MB/s
copy: 7748 MB/s
latency: 70.5 ns

Think I'll leave it be for now before I go mad :p
