Everest Monitoring software - Confused

Hi,

I have recently upgraded my PC and put in a DFI Nf4 Ultra D. So, I had to remove the processor and put it back in. The board didn't seem to come with any temperature monitoring software. So, I got a copy of Everest. The CPU temp is currently 36 degrees, however it shows core 1 at 45 and core 2 at 44. I have an AMD X2 4600. So, is the processor okay and what temperature do I believe?

Cheers,

The temps seem a bit hot then. I've just fired up TMPGenc and put that on to put it under load. CPU is 47, Core 1 is 60 and Core 2 is 59. With my old MSI board the processor didn't seem to get that hot, unless the MSI corecenter only reads the CPU temp as that seems to be what the figures were like. I've put on core temp and it shows the same readings. Do you think I need to reapply some arctic paste?
