Got Everest working on Vista and have a strange reading.

CPU 51C
CPU #1/Core #1 37C
CPU #1/Core #2 37C
Chipset 63C

Unsure if this is right, at idle with windows running

under load these go to 80/60/60/65 now what is the one I should be worried about CPU or Core?

what processor is it?

try coretemp for core temperatures and compare, its usually the core thats highest, with the cpu about 15 below the core

Its an E2180 core2duo

Core temp reads the same as CPU #1 /core #1 of 37 and CPU #1 /core #2 37. Which should I worry about, 37 seems ok but 80 under load (which coretemp doesnt show) is too high for me

Run core temp and see if you get similar results. Your 'cores' should be hotter than the cpu temp.
