Anyone here play EQ2?

I've recently had an urge to start a MMORPG again. I used to play Everquest (I absolutely loved it) when I was younger and it was my first step into the MMORPG world so I thought EQ2 would be my best bet, especially after all the time its been out and patched and tweaked etc.

So anyone still play it? I made a dark elf character on Splitpaw yesterday

Quick question: I downloaded the free 14 day trial and made an account with it, but I also bought the actual game from an online shop. Is it possible to somehow attach the account I've made from the free trial to the registration code I got with the game? Or will I have to make a new one?

I'm just wondering because the game has a free 30 day period and comes with a bonus mount (i think.)

Yeah i bought the Shadow Oddyssey

Well I'm only level 10 on Splitpaw and so far I've hardly seen other players After about 7 hours playing, 99% of the other players I have seen have been level 80's.

Its actually making me second think my decision to subscribe to the game. I was going to actually register my game on the weekend, but if the game is going to be so empty until I reach the last levels, then I dont know whether I should bother.

I might try a US server or something and see how populated it is. There is more content in this game than any other MMORPG I've played, but there no point if no one else plays
