Good keeper, well better than Ruddy he was rubbish for cambridge United and we all know what happened to them. Good call I would say. I would even say hes better than Wright. Being a red tho, would mind seeing him have a few poor games,

The reason Utd went down was the fact they couldn't score a goal to save their life. Ruddy was one of the only highlights, hence why he was watched by England on occasions and was called up to train with various squads.
Ruddy looked okay when we had to use him against Blackburn. Admitedly he didn't have that much to do, but he put in a solid display and made a great save when he needed to.
With 3 keepers out already for the Newcastle game it makes sense to bring someone with a bit more experience in.
