I was flicking through the music channels last night and i was thinking that every band seems to have one album that is either considered their defining moment or step into the big time.
A few examples i thought of:
Metallica - Master of Puppets (defineing moment) or Black album (step into the big time)*
Pearl Jam - Ten
Coldplay - Parachutes
U2 - Joshua Tree (definately the album were they were accepted by mainstream UK)
Nivarna - nevermind
These are all imo of course, any others??
