Dunno if this the right forum but here goes. The wife turned on the pc this morning to be greeted by the normal desktop, but with a green tinge to it! Just the background pic, the icons are all normal. All our photos have a green tinge/element now and all web pages have certain areas green where they should be blue, ie: ocuk forum pages are predominantly green, with other areas blue (normal).
games on the other hand are normal, perfect colours.
I have no idea whats caused this, does anyone have any ideas?

Check the cables (between monitor and graphics card) are ok, not loose and no pins bent etc, though I'm not sure it can be that if games remain perfect colours but worth a try anyway.

Nope, just checked, everything is secure. I'm running a virus check (for what its worth, but you never know). If that doesn't throw anything up, I'll try reinstalling the video drivers, after that it a windoews reinstal :(

its the monitor, change the colour by the buttons on the monitor, it might have had its day but u can get colour back by changing the RGB colours on the monitors integrated menu thing.

EDIT; just read the whole of your post, looks like its not be monitor, do what you sed, reinstall drivers, do dx diagnosis, etc.
