Only difference appears to be that the non black edition has a back plate. All clock speeds etc are the same.

EVGA have a handle table comparison for you to look at. Not sure I can post the link as it may come under competitor forum rules.

But if you just go on any of the EVGA product pages and scroll down, you will find it.

Hi

- The clocks are the same on both products.

- Both are also white LED only.

- The SC (08G-P4-6173-KR) comes with backplate where the Black Edition (08G-P4-5173-KR) does not.

- The Black Edition is slightly darker in appearance and less LED light.

Product page here with decription and breakdown of all parts at the bottom - http://eu.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-5173-KR

Dont forget your EVGA Cashback in place for April - http://eu.evga.com/articles/01095/cashback-on-evga-geforce-gtx-1070-or-1080-graphics-cards/

More Cashback on the 08G-P4-6173-KR the SC at present £35 vs £25

Let me know any more questions

Thanks
Ben

Excellent, thanks for the informative responses.

I'll go for the non-black version.. what with a £30 OCUK voucher to spend, the EVGA cashback, and a £50 topcashback redemption coming my way this will be a bargain :-)

A massive upgrade from my 7870, then time to start thinking about a new monitor to show off what this GPU can do.

Thanks
