Just noticed while working out what extra USB PCI/PCI-e cards I'd need to install for a Rift that my GPU fan (the one closest to the back plate of the 3) twitches every 5-6 seconds. I have Precision XOC (terrible software) v6.1.8 installed with only the frame limiter set from default off to on/60, no overclocks, no custom fan profiles and no OSD monitoring. I know v6.1.10 is now available but it has more bugs.

Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Fan twitching tends to happen when the voltage is just lower than the required to make the fan spin. If you're sitting on the desktop it's probably quite normal and part of the default fan profile.

If it's bothering you change the minimum fan speed settings and set a custom fan profile.

It is just sitting idle on the desktop with all 3 fans off. Temps are 33/35/34.

Have never noticed a fan twitch in what should be its off state before.
