EVGA 295... is it working right? DOW2 issues

Hi All,

this is more of a paranoid post from me I have recently received Dawn of War 2 as a xmas present which is great. however i am noticing a few jumpy bits in the game cut scenes went there probably shouldn't be. my card is about 6 months old now and my system is top of the line, i went bonkers.

im running everything maxed out 1920 x 1200 on Ultra, i have the latest 195.62 divers from the Nvidia site, says in the NV control panel its using directx 11 too.

surely this game should be able to run at that res and settings no problem, the game is almost 2 years old now!, is there anything i should try and tweak / check, anything im doing wrong. i heard a while ago that the 295 cards had a frame issue, could this be it or is has that been sorted out now?

there is also no Anti aliasing in the DOW2 game im playing no option to put it on or it is on and its not working???

any comments welcome, just tring to get it working / looking like i would expect

DoW2 isn't even a year old. Run FRAPS to see what frame rate you're getting.

dow2 has a few known issues such as artifacts when run on ultra. I found speeding up the grfx card fan speed to 75% sorted it all out. for others this doesnt work. I've got gtx 285.

ok i have put the res down from 1920 x 1200, which has helped. the game is ok at this res. what i have noticed is the video is jerky throughout the game at this res. so the game is ok just seems that it is the videos really, any ideas?. still really enjoying the game though far better than the first series.
