evga 750 reducing default fan speed

It might be the minimum enforced on the bios of the card...but you could always try using MSI Afterburner to see if it allows you to reduce the fanspeed.

Hi I tried reducing with msi afterburner but you might be right about the minimum setting with the bios :(

Hi, it is the minimum voltage used already. The fan on that model is a voltage controlled one and going down more will not work. What you could try in that case is to install an aftermarket cooler or install a 4Pin Fan you connecto to the motherboard.

Quick off topic question Dominik, missed out on my step up by three weeks (980ti temptation), is there any leeway with this or am I just out of luck? cheers

I've got this card and at default idling it is (to my ears) silent, maybe something wrong that an RMA would fix?

this card if far from quiet its not your typical fan noise its more of a rattling I only bought it on the 23/05 so might just take it back for a refund
