First bench results are in from across the pond. Seems like decent results.

over 1280Mhz at stock volts is pretty impressive. Although there have been a few lucky people on reference cards hitting 1300mhz on stock volts. I actually cancelled my order as I've not been very impressed with the way EVGA have treated their customers this time round. With the addition of the Kingpin card and lack of technical specifications for this card, I'd rather leave them out of pocket. I've also not been very impressed with the overclocking on the EVGA SC cards (reference cooled).

Still it looks as though the Classified is still putting out decent numbers. Not to mention that score would put it straight into the top 5 on our own leaderboard.

Not bad, cpu needs work, plenty of headroom left on that chip to bench 5ghz+ :D

Edit: vram clocks look pretty epic!!

I think it is fair to say.

EVGA binn their chips, ok the very very best will now be on the Kingpin card, but the Classy will still be getting the others. It does mean however the regular 780Ti's from EVGA may not be all that. Fact is hard to say, at the moment all the 780Ti's seem pretty good clockers, which says the cores are all pretty good for now.

There might be a few, but I've got three of the SC from you guys, and none of them will do over 1230mhz on the core without additional voltage. It's not criminal, as the 'SC' badge only really implies the fact they've got slightly higher base clocks. But it is really disappointing considering you've got users with Gigabyte reference cards doing 1300mhz on occasion with no voltages applied, and most will do circa 1250 without a problem.

Grumble.

I hear that. I know the SC just has higher base clocks but seems they have binned for the Classy/Vince edition from the off. I wouldn't be bothered but also would feel a little grrrrr.

Well I'm not looking to send em back, didn't even consider it when I finished seeing what they could do, but still felt a bit hard done by. Then again I was going for the Classys, but with them on order for over 4 weeks without even knowing what the final specs were, EVGA can 'do one'. :)

User post:

Just for perspective.

My Classy Ti artifacts in Valley at 1240 mhz.

My 780 Ti SC can run up to 1270 MHz before it does the same.

My Classy Asic is 60% and the 780 Ti Ref is 74%

Hopefully I get better results when we get the Classy tool working reliably.

Think we'll get a broader scope to how the Kingpin has effected these cards in a few weeks time.

Its getting pretty ridiculous we're now on the 13.12.13 without a single review!?! Believe me I search Google every day all the usual review sites + forums for a review of the classified & guess what nada not even a dicky bird… "Instead all you get when you Google EVGA Classified" is that damn kingpin card. What’s the deal here it’s like a blanket - blackout since the Classy was listed.
(now that i've said that out loud - there will probably be a review up this afternoon on guru) :p

Just looking at gpuz & the default clock on the Classy is reading 1006mhz? I thought it was 1020mhz for the Classy's

Gibbo any more word on the Classified delivery to OcUK plz plz plz ;)

"It's not what it looks like...."

Very old picture of their binning process. Judging by the floor they're taking it fairly literally.

GTX780Ti Classified

Hi All

I firmed up pricing with Gibbo yesterday and as long as all delivery schedules into our Munich warehouse aren't missed then OCUK will have stock landing on December 23rd as one of 4 priority customers in my region of Northern Europe.

If we do hit a delay I will keep you up to date, but as of this morning we are still on schedule.

Thanks
Ben

I use to have an evga 770 but it's just to dam loud I sent it back and got refunded!!. 41% on idle is just daft it was annoying the fans kept ramping up and down. msi and gigabyte are much quieter cards and seem to stay cooler. You can't beat evga for there warranty though :)
